President of the Federation of Taekwondo of the Republic of Abkhazia Otar Gogua told reporters that soon the Republic of Abkhazia will become a member of the World Federation for that sport. According abhazia-news.ru, this should happen in May 2017.

As Gogua recalled Taekwondo Federation in Abkhazia was established in 2000. The very same future head of the Federation began its work in 1997, set itself the goal to the World Federation of Abkhazia adopted a team.

According Gogua, Abkhazian team is always ready to change and innovation, used in Taekwondo, and are always in touch with the latest trends.
