The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia held a presentation of the project "Gastronomic Abkhazia" in Istanbul. The event was held at the Abkhazian Cultural Center with the support of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Turkey Ibrahim Avidzba and Representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Abkhazia in Turkey Gunda Ankvab. The presentation gathered more than 100 participants, among who were representatives of foreign consulates, heads of several districts of Turkey, representatives of the diaspora, business, culture, education, sports, as well as journalists.

The event began with a welcoming speech by Elif Marchan-Barkan, the Chairman of the Abkhazian Cultural Center in Istanbul who noted the importance of this event for strengthening cultural and economic ties between the countries.
