The meeting between the Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Ritsa Ankvab and Provost of East Ayrshire Council Jim Todd was held in the Scottish twin-city Kilmarnock.
In the Scottish twin-city Kilmarnock (twin-city of the capital of the Republic of Abkhazia-Sukhum) the meetıng was held between the Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Ritsa Ankvab and Provost of East Ayrshire Council Jim Todd.
The meeting has been held in a very friendly atmosphere; Mr. Todd spoke very kindly about the Republic of Abkhazia, was well informed about the political issues of Abkhazia, and underlined his sympathy for Abkhazia and readiness for cooperation with the representatives of the CCI of RA in all available spheres.
Mr. Todd told the Representative of the CCI of RA about his faithful friendship and willingness for collaboration with CCI of RA and stressed that he hopes to have the opportunity to pay a visit to Abkhazia and drive his bike “the freedom rally”
After the cruel Georgian-Abkhaz in Abkhazia (1992-1993) in the twin-city Kilmarnock was opened the fame park and the memorial was constructed for our soldiers who died for the freedom of Abkhazia.
And even now in the city core of the capital of Abkhazia in the very center of Sukhum there is a Street named “Scottish Street”, which tells about the desire of Republic of Abkhazia to renew friendship cultural and economic relations with Scotland and continue working in this important direction
