On the 15th of February the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gennady Gagulia met with the Ambassador at large of MFA of RA in Asian-Pacific Region Mr. Juris Gulbis. The meeting was attended by the vice-president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia Maxim Gundjia and head of External Relations and Investment department Ms. Ia Gabunia. Juris Gulbis said that the countries of the Asian-Pacific region have great economic interest to Abkhazia. The creation of joint projects aimed at realization of the objectives on the development of production and trade cooperation with the Republic of Abkhazia is vast. "Asian Pacific Region is an interesting and prosperous region, which may present considerable interest for the business community of Abkhazia. And developing of contacts with businesses of the Asian-Pacific countries is the very important", - said the president of CCI RA Gennady Gagulia. According to the Ambassador at Large in the Asian-Pacific region, the achievement of bilateral cooperation in trade area with Asia Pacific countries will provide a firm basis for continuing of cooperation in all areas of modern life. Juri Gulbis and Gennady Gagulia discussed the possibility of investment attracting to the Republic of Abkhazia.
