JOINT COOPERATION PLAN DISCUSSIONS

The plan for joint cooperation was discussed at a meeting between Nizar al-Jabban, the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia and Iyad Abdalla Najjar, the President of the General Union of Syrian Artisans . Mr. Ahmad Obeid, Deputy President of the Union of Artisans of the Syrian Arab Republic also was present.
The main topic of discussion was the exchange of experience in the field of crafts and the development of trade in traditional products. The parties outlined concrete steps to strengthen ties between entrepreneurs and artisans of the two countries.
Following the meeting an agreement was reached on mutual visits by delegations to continue the dialogue.
This is not the first instance of successful interaction. In 2018, in Sukhum, as part of the "VISIT APSNY" tourism forum, a joint exhibition-fair of Syrian and Abkhazian masters was already held, which demonstrated significant potential for further cooperation.
