At the invitation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia, from May 8 to 12 for the first time an official delegation from Lebanon is on an official visit to Abkhazia. The delegation includes representatives of the Circassian diaspora, entrepreneurs interested in developing business contacts with our republic.

It should be noted that the arrival of this delegation to Abkhazia was preceded by lengthy negotiations. Having agreements and cooperating with many Chambers of Commerce and Circassian associations in the Middle East, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia held negotiations for several years to organize a visit of the representatives of the Circassian diaspora to Abkhazia.

Today, May 10, a delegation from Lebanon met with the president of the CCI Gennady Gaguliya. Representatives of the Circassian Association met with the team, discussed issues of further cooperation in the area of ​​building ties and attracting investors.

"There is a large Circassian diaspora in Lebanon. For the whole history of the Circassian Association in Lebanon, this invitation, received from the CCI of RA, is the first one, and we gladly accepted it, "said the head of the Circassian Association in Lebanon Sariya Abdelrazak.

A special program has been prepared for the delegation from Lebanon, which includes acquaintance with Abkhazia, the history and culture of the Abkhazian people, scheduled meetings with the public, visits to enterprises and much more.

The visit will last until May 12.
