The meeting was held between the Vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Astamur Gaguliya, chairman of the Russian Experts Association of Retail Market Andrei Karpov and his deputy Denis Vasiliev within the framework of the Business and Government Forum “Retail Days on the Neva”. The delegation fr om Abkhazia attended the event at the invitation of the Association.

Astamur Gaguliya expressed gratitude for the interest to business community of the Republic of Abkhazia. The Vice-president noted that the delegation of Abkhazia received a favorable impression of the event organized at such a high level, and each of the members of the delegation obtained useful and practical feedback.

“The Chamber of Commerce and Industry supports our entrepreneurs, promotes development and provides all kinds of support in the implementation of various interesting projects. Despite the fact that network retail is currently at the initial stage in Abkhazia, the CCI is aimed at further development and compliance with international standards in this field, ”- emphasized Mr. Gaguliya.

CCI is interested in this area and interaction with the Association in the information and consulting aspect makes it possible to improve the qualifications of Abkhaz entrepreneurs, studying new business development trends.

The delegation formed by the CCI of the Republic of Abkhazia consisted of large producers of goods and services of Abkhazia, members of the CCI of RA, such as: LLC Wines and Beverages of Abkhazia, LLC Sukhumskiy Brewery, LLC JV A-Mobile, Shopping center "Premium Market", the company "Coffee Rossi" and others.
As a follow-up, Astamur Gaguliya emphasized that the CCI has established guilds in almost all sectors, thereby providing entrepreneurs with a platform for discussing real problems and realizing their potential through interaction.

During a productive conversation, the chairman of the retail association A.N. Karpov expressed readiness to cooperate in any undertakings: “We are ready to work, whether it is recommendations from the point of view of the store building, educational management workshops, or category management. The membership of the Association allows you to get positive experience in the field of retail development. ”

Following the negotiations, the parties came to a common opinion on signing a cooperation agreement.

The Chairman of the Experts Association of Retail Market invited the entrepreneurs of Abkhazia to the next large-scale industry forum “Russian Retail Week” in Moscow, wh ere more than 6,000 delegates will take part.

Astamur Gaguliya thanked those present for the confidence and invitation, noting the high importance of industry forums, allowing to evolve with the changing times.

The forum was held in St. Petersburg from November 19-20.
