ABKHAZIA WAS PRESENTED TO POTSDAM ENTREPRENEURS

An evening dedicated to Abkhazia was held in the historic Dutch quarter of Potsdam organized by a Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic within the framework of the approved event plan of the representative office for 2025 in cooperation with the Askania brand. During the event, Wolfgang Mattzke the representative of the CCI of RA in Germany made a presentation of the Republic of Abkhazia, paying special attention to the Abkhaz collectible coins apsaras. The guests of the evening got acquainted with the history and features of the coins which had become a vivid symbol of modern Abkhazia.
Hibla Amichba, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany came to support the presentation.
The event was attended by Martina Dold, CEO of Askania, Baron Constantin von Bossner, owner of the Bossner trademark, Fabian Werth, producer of Berliner Goldsuse liqueur, and other entrepreneurs.
Opening the evening Wolfgang Mattzke delivered a welcoming speech to the audience and thanked the guests of the event for their participation.
"I am pleased to introduce our dear guests to the Black Sea pearl, its ancient history, distinctive culture, as well as the economic, tourist and investment potential of Abkhazia," said the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Then there was a screening of a film about our republic, prepared by the Chamber.
Wolfgang Mattzke not only talked about the history of money circulation in our republic and the activities of the National Bank, but also presented a catalog of coins and banknotes. Each of the coins, reflecting a certain historical stage, allowed the guests of the evening to learn about the key events and prominent personalities who shaped the history of Abkhazia.
The evening ended with a tasting of chacha and cognac from Abkhaz producers OOO "Wines and Waters of Abkhazia", "Chateau Abhaz" and "Argun Iashta", leaving the guests with warm impressions and a desire to discover Abkhazia.
