The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia had a meeting with entrepreneurs from Turkey. The prospects for doing business in Abkhazia and issues connected with business activity were discussed at the meeting.

Participants focused particular attention on the questions of expanding and developing business contacts and mutually beneficial cooperation between Abkhaz and Turkish businessmen, entering the markets of Abkhazia and Turkey and attracting Turkish investment in Abkhazia, and the protection of the rights and legal interests of Abkhaz and Turkish businessmen in their relations with Turkish and Abkhaz official and commercial bodies.

“Today economic relations between Abkhazia and Turkey are developing dynamically. We should continue trying to create positive conditions for strengthening business relations,” said the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gagulıya L.Gennadıy.

At the end of the meeting the guests were presented with brochures about Abkhazia’s attractiveness to investors and souvenir gifts.
