23-rd Anniversary of Victory in Georgian-Abkhaz war!

23 years ago, on August 14, 1992, the largest and bloodiest war in the South Caucasus started between Georgia and –Abkhazia when Georgian troops occupied all the territory of Abkhazia.
On September 30, 1993 the war, which lasted 413 days, ended up with the withdrawal of the fascist Georgian State Council troops from Abkhazia, and the enemy was defeated.

This celebration, which unites all the residents of our country –is an inexhaustible source of patriotism and love for the Motherland and belief in their own strength. The Victory Day - it's a huge tribute to all those who never returned from battlefields, who defended the cost of his own life for future generations, peace, freedom and prosperity.
30 September 1993 will always stay in the heroic annals of our country. We will never forget the heroism of the people, the liberators, who were fighting for the independence and integrity of the State, the right of people to live in peace.
Abkhaz people know the value of peace and above all puts the honor and freedom of their homeland.
