Own vineyard area of 600 hectares planted at the mouth of the river Gumista. Experimental plot carrying the breeding of traditional varieties of Abkhazian grapes, as well as imported, which allows "the Wines and Beverages of Abkhazia" to produce wines of high quality.

Sukhum winery is featured with new Italian and French production lines, enameled tanks and oak barrels specially procured in France for storage and handling of wine. The wine is poured into the bottles of Bohemian glass, which, in turn, plugged with Portuguese corks, which has ultra-modern laboratory techno-chemical control and a staff of highly skilled professionals, constantly improving their professional level - which is now a commercial objective of "Wines and Beverages of Abkhazia" is a model enterprise of the European level.

The result of work of winemakers, are light, fragrant, fresh and unique for its bouquet of wines of Abkhazia, corresponding to most demanding taste.

Company's priorities are: Growing new varieties, the production of expensive wines, traditional "Chacha" and the creation of high quality cognac lines.

It should be noted that for all these years Sukhum winery is managed by the generation of ancient princely Abkhazian family Achba, who continues to hold a special pride and develop the tradition of winemaking in Abkhazia.
